7 Reasons Why Jersey Girls Love “The Silver Jar” Restorative Face Cream, (But Won’t Talk About It).

The state of New Jersey is known for many things.  The “Jersey” attitude, the Jersey Shore, The Jersey Shore reality show (shutter), The Sopranos, New Jersey Exits, and of course…Jersey Girls.  So let’s talk about Jersey Girls for a second.

Yes, there is an actual definition for the term “Jersey Girls.”  The Urban Dictionary quotes The Star Ledger in its definition here…we figured that this roll-up is as good as any: 

“girl with a love of an unpretentious good time, and a certain sense of style. Jersey girls are about attitude. They’re about eating pizza, drinking beer, having great hair – and enjoying it all…She’s got a mouth on her. She says what she means. And she’s got a nice, cheerful laugh…Bottom line, all of them are sexy as hell.” -The Star Ledger

So if you actually reside in the state of New Jersey, have relatives from Jersey, or drove through the Garden State enroute to New York, you have to admit that this definition of Jersey Girls is generally accurate, right?
We’ll get back to that point in a few seconds.
Disclaimer:  We don’t write many product reviews here at Goombay Tally, and certainly haven’t been paid, solicited by, or even endorsed by the manufacturers of The Silver Jar Restorative Face Cream for this product review.  However, we are not only intrigued by the emerging popularity of this product on the east coast (specifically) but are also interested in the organic growth of its loyal consumer base in this region.  Moreover, we happen to be HUGE fans of emerging trends and guerilla marketing.  
So here’s the Jersey connection again:  After several trips to New Jersey (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Mother’s Day etc) over the past year, I began noticing a number of my family members and friends had these small little silver jars hiding in their bathrooms, purses, cupboards and bedrooms.
I also noticed something else about the women (and men!) who were using this product in New Jersey: Outside of their small groups of cliques, close friends and family, (much like their governor) they all were very conservative about sharing granular details related to The Silver Jar with anyone else.
This facial cream certainly must do incredibly positive things for them.  But why all the secrecy?
That’s an easy one…New Jersey women tend to be a little selfish and maybe a bit self-absorbed at times…even to the point of keeping personal beauty secrets as Top Secret as nuclear launch codes, or a Mafia hitman Rolodex.
Alright, maybe a little harsh…but to their defense, why should they divulge information about products, creams, or even food that keeps them looking younger and healthier right? 
But here’s the fundamental problem with product or service exclusiveness, scarcity, and secrecy…it invariably ignites intense curiosity and infectious demand.  In short, we believe that The Silver Jar restorative face cream is perfectly postured to follow the same successful marketing roadmap.

Widely acclaimed writer and journalist Malcolm Gladwell put out an exceptional book in 2000 called “The Tipping Point: How Little Things Can Make a Big Difference.” 
To summarize, in The Tipping Point, Gladwell presents the idea that, for example, “just as a single sick person can start an epidemic of the flu, so too can a small but precisely targeted push cause a fashion trend, the popularity of a new product, or a drop in the crime rate.”

“The tipping point is that magic moment when an idea, trend, or social behavior crosses a threshold, tips, and spreads like wildfire.”

Bottomline:  We Think The Silver Jar has great potential to hit a similar “tipping point” and quickly take the health and beauty industry by storm…due to selective marketing and an effective word of mouth consumer methodology.

1.  A One Product Focus…Uncompromising Quality is The Silver Jar’s Core Competency!

The manufacturers of The Silver Jar pride themselves on developing one single product that deliberately focuses on a single objective:  “to provide essential restoration to your skin.” They seem to intuitively understand what their core competency is and are determined to aggressively capitalize on it.

Hence, The Silver Jar is advertised as “the ONLY product in their cosmetic line. There are no variations, no lipsticks, and no eyeliners to dilute our focus and quality.”  Let’s be honest, there’s nothing worse than a beauty and health company that puts a basket of soft and mediocre consumables on the shelf but never truly builds their business around one solid and effective product.

The Silver Jar appears to be hell-bent on not being that company…ever.

Love it or hate it, sunscreen is an absolute necessity for all of us.  Yes, although many of us grew up spending hours on the beach or sunbathed all day for years without even thinking about using a sunscreen product back in the day–but those days are long, long gone.

I’ve personally used The Silver Jar for over a year now and this skin cream is truly phenomenal.  Honestly, once you apply this cream on your face, you will feel it work immediately.
